I would like to thank the community that clarified many doubts and had a respectful debate. I am starting to pray and plan an altar and getting to know more about the gods and their mysteries. I hope in the future to be able to explore and get to know various pantheons and their strengths and connect with the ancient roots.
I have a gnome that I sometimes make small offerings and serves as an ornament, but I would like to know if it can stand next to an altar of a God or is it not good to mix elementals of nature with gods?
For a polytheist or pagan, who is the Christian god? Was he just a God of the Canaanite pantheon or a simple invention?
I ask this because, in a way, would it be possible to worship him in the way that Baal or El were worshipped in the ancient East?
I'm not Hellenic but I've been interested in faith since I saw a teacher from my country who spreads Hellenism, however I wanted to know how to know which gods to worship or which ones do you have some connection to? maybe I'm thinking that real life is like Percy Jackson but there are really gods that I feel special affection for like nix, Apollo and Hades
