We have been building opchat for the past few months and wanted to share it because I think a few of you might find it useful.

What opchat does:

It allows to create your own AI personas with your existing ChatGPT account (no API key needed - it uses Codex, the same auth method that OpenClaw uses), own keys for Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter, Ollama, or any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Or skip all of that and run models fully on-device (Gemma-4, Qwen 3.6, etc.) with zero internet. Image generation is also included!

The app is fully private when you want it. On-device mode means nothing leaves your phone.

It has been a while since the last update on zerotap here. First of all, thanks for all the comments on my previous post and the suggestions you provided.

I just wanted to announce that we recently added Codex support in zerotap as an additional option alongside BYOK. Since Codex is now free in ChatGPT, this means you can use a ChatGPT account to control your Android device. This is the same authorization method used in OpenClaw.

Hope it helps, and I would be happy to hear about other improvements and features you'd like to see in the app.
