I just got my dentures yesterday and I’m not gonna lie, I slept without them in. I physically couldn’t close my mouth. Like to the point my jaw joints started cramping. They’ve also rubbed huge sores into my gums that were already sore to begin with. Trying to put them back in now doesn’t really hurt where the extractions are, but those sore spots?? Absolutely not 🫠 The pain from the extractions themselves honestly isn’t bad at all. I don’t feel sick or anything. It’s just these dentures. I’ve also been looking at them and something feels off. One side is WAY too wide, like it’s not even touching my actual gum line. It’s supposed to be more of a horseshoe shape, but this feels almost circular? I don’t even know how to explain it and there are extra teeth on one side that don’t make any sense.
They told me to come back in a week for adjustments, but I’m not going to be able to wear these at all like this. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do.
