I’ve recently gotten back into saltwater fishing. So I relined my saltwater rod and went down to the local fishing area and after doing some cast, it seems like it doesn’t want to cast very far like the drag is too high or something like that.

It’s probably been a hot minute since I’ve fished at the very least over 5 to 10 years. The real looks OK a little worn in areas, but could it be that the real also needs some grease or something like that? I’m not too sure would like some input. Attached are some pictures. It started raining so I’m in my car and it was kind of awkward to get pictures of the reel.
