I really like a Rabbi & Rebbetzin whose shul is a 40-minute walk from my house. I live in Canada where the temperature fluctuates between +35 and -20 Celsius. Either way, I’d arrive sweaty (it can get hot inside a winter coat!). There are dozens of shuls near my house, so I’m not lacking in access, I just prefer this farther one. I’ve taken some classes there and it feels very welcoming.

How long do others walk to shul, and does your choice of shul sometimes depend on the weather?
