Hello,

I’m having a small issue with my CPU fan. A vibration only appears when the fan is mounted on the heatsink.

I’m wondering: could the fan cable be the source of this noise if it’s touching the heatsink? It’s the only possible contact point I’ve identified.

For clarification, I tested the fan on its own (not attached to the heatsink), and in that setup it makes absolutely no noise.
