Not preaching just wanna put this out there and some info about what to expect if you need to commute.
Above is a picture of the charter bus that they are providing. I took the bus from Hicksville and we
left the train station at 6:30am. We got to Howard beach station (A train) at 8am. I work in Brooklyn then I took the A train approx 35 mins to the closest stop to me and got to work. I left my house at 5:55 and got to work at 8:45 so just under 3 hours. So if you need to come to work and i am stressing need to come in give yourself approximately 3 hours. I’m urging people to work from home if you can. The buses don’t have a ton of seats but it was not as bad because people took the warning to stay home. I know this isn’t ideal but try to be a little nicer to people during the commute. We are all in the same boat no reason to make anybody else’s travel worse. We all are in the same crappy situation hopefully it will be over soon.
