Can this corner chair rail be fixed?
My contractor did this chair rail trim on the new bathroom wall, and they were supposed to land just behind the frame of the door (see “Good side” photos) but this one juts out noticeably. You can see from the top the grout line is too thick to the corner and it’s causing it to jut out from the door frame.
Is this something I can fix? He was a very difficult to pin down so I’d rather just fix this myself if I can. Is it possible to just remove this tile, clean it, and reinsert with thinset and then grout?
I also have more of these pieces but it would need to be sawed and I don’t readily have access to that so ideally I was thinking of removing this one and jsut redoing the thinset and grout and silicone here… is this a bad idea? Why?
