Hi, If a client has indicated that the buyer wishes to buy a property with all cash or they are the buyer and buying the property - with all cash - What would you recommend in terms of AML checks? If the buyer is our client, I'm certain that I cannot even tell them I need to verify source of funds or not? As that might lead to a tipping off offence or is that okay? And also what if the buyer is the other party? Do we have any obligations then?
