Context:
I failed my last flytraps that i got from lowe's because i heard that i could put them in a pot as big as i wanted to, and i had high hopes so i bought a large pot that's 9.5 inches deep and 10.5 wide. i also thought that they need constant water in the tray for a big pot size but i think i had waterlogged my last plants due to white mold strings beginning to form on the soil and my plant being wilted. I also am using a sansi grow light indoor setup because my apartment balcony is not positioned for direct sunlight
I ordered 3 DC XL starter plants that should be arriving today and will need to be potted tonight. but i am concerned that the pot size i was using for my last vft's was too big? I want a large pot if it will work and if the plants will eventually fill out the pot over time but i don't know if it will be detrimental to my starter plants because i assume they will be pretty tiny. so my questions are:
-Is there a specific watering schedule that i should be following for a large pot that will work better for small plants?
- will the pot size prevent the plant from getting enough water?
-Will too much soil drown the plant even if it's kept at a proper moisture level?
