Theory: The Man in Yellow is NOT alone.

Everyone keeps focusing on him like he’s the final boss… but I think he’s just one of “them.”

The biggest clue? The nursery rhyme/song: “They come for three.”

Not “he comes.” THEY.

Then you have Martin constantly warning Boyd: “They’ll be back.”

Again… plural.

I think the Man in Yellow is part of a higher group of entities controlling Fromville — maybe different “roles” or “forces” tied to the cycles we keep seeing. The monsters at night are the foot soldiers. The Man in Yellow could be one of the beings ABOVE them.

And what if we’ve already seen others?

* The Boy in White * The Kimono Woman * The Music Box entity * The thing communicating through dreams/visions

What if these aren’t random supernatural events… but multiple members of the same system?

The town keeps operating in RULES:

* sacrifices * cycles * “knowledge comes with a cost” * reincarnation * people being “chosen”

That doesn’t feel like chaos. It feels organized.

Almost like factions or overseers..

Martin saying “they’ll be back” makes me think Boyd only encountered ONE layer of what’s actually controlling the town.

And the rhyme “they come for three” It may literally describe how these entities move, hunt, judge, or collect people.

The town may not have ONE villain.
