Hi everyone,

I’m trying to understand a dorm eligibility rule and would appreciate some clarification.

My question is: does a scholarship amount (for example from DAAD) count as “income” in this case?

For example, if someone receives:

• monthly DAAD scholarship stipend
• money from their own blocked account

would both together be counted toward this limit? Or is the blocked account treated differently since it’s basically personal savings?

If anyone has experience with Studentenwerk housing rules or similar cases, I’d really appreciate the help.
