I noticed on the video wall behind Ren there was an animated character that at one point challenged Ren to a guitar duel. Was that consistent through the whole festival, like the Wakken burning bull head, or was it something cooked up for Ren?
Was that Romain in character as the masked guitarist? It would be hard to imagine it was anyone else, especially since he and Glen were there.

I was looking around for background on the crossroads story and found this. Hoodoo is not the same as voodoo, exactly and is what's referenced often in blues. If you've ever wondered in old songs who Little John The Conqueror is or what a mojo hand is, it's hoodoo. My hometown is a hotbed of traditional hoodoo which I was unaware of until recently. I sometimes brag about being a white guy embedded in the Black working class but I never heard this discussed.
