I'm playing through a fender bassbreaker 15 and I'd like to run the amp with an attenuator. I'm thinking of running the main speaker out to the input on the attenuator, can I desolder the wires from the speaker and connect a jack cable to it and connect it to the output of the attenuator? Will there be risks to leaving the original wires to the speaker there?
