Traveling to Santa Barbara from the east coast for a wedding in mid-October. Looking to extend the trip by 3-4 days to celebrate my husband's 40th before flying back out of LAX. Considering Ojai Valley Inn, and seeking some ideas because I'm trying to accomplish a lot in one trip -- something special yet manageable for us as parents, memorable and fun for 3 kids 7 and under, and also something unique as my husband has a big birthday happening while we're away. He also is not into anything too fancy or corporate. No golf needed, but a great pool, scenery and town to explore would be great!
