Do I put this job on my linkedin?

New grad: Interned with the same start up for 6 months as an ML engineer. Full time return offer after graduating and been working for 1 month. Received an ML engineer offer from a very large tech company I had been interviewing with before I received a return offer originally and will likely take it. Do I even put the 1 month of full-time at the start up on my linkedin or resume? Will it look bad for future job applications a few years down the line?

Day in the life San Diego Office

Recently got an offer for a new grad position and I am deciding between a fully remote start-up position or a relocation to the SD office.

What does a day in the life look like at the office? Are you constantly in meetings? Do you get time to work alone unbothered? Are you expected to start and stay until a certain time?

Deciding between two offers (New Grad)

I need some realistic advice and new perspective on two offers:

Start-up:

  • Location: Fully remote, headquarters based in Palo Alto, some travel which I do enjoy
  • Title: Solutions Architect - AI/ML Systems
  • Total comp: 200k (162k base + 38k bonus + 30k shares vested over 4 years but not liquid)
  • Has been around for 12 years
  • Stable growth, great customer portfolio

Large tech company:

  • Location: need to relocate, fully in person 5 days a week
  • Title: Machine Learning Engineer
  • Total comp: 236k (158k base + 25k sign-on + 10k relocation + 10k performance bonus + $33k RSUs per year for 3 years)
  • Great name recognition to start my career
  • Great title and work

Comes down to this: Is name recognition + title + 36k worth being fully in person and away from my family and girlfriend who I plan on proposing to this summer. Name recognition could not be as big of a factor as I am making it out to be, the start-up hires a lot from Microsoft and Oracle, and has lots of company alum in FAANG currently
