I’m thinking about taking cs10 as an upcoming freshmen, and since I have no programming experience it seems like a good fit. It looks like a newer class however so I can’t find much about it, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some insight about the class and prof. Cornwall!!!

I’m looking to buy a laptop, but I dont really want to spend more than 1000-1200 usd, just looking for something to do my schoolwork with no problems, looking for at least 16 gb RAM and 512 gb ssd, im open to buying refurbished or used, but i would prefer something new. I plan on majoring in something in STEM if that helps. This is my first laptop so i don’t really know what to look for. Any recommendations will help!

I’m an incoming freshmen at tufts and i’m not too sure if I should retake calc 1 or go straight to calc 2. I got a 4 on AP calc ab, so I have credit for calc 1, I felt like i understood most of the material, I was an A/A- student throughout the year, but a refresh on calc 1 doesn’t sound too bad.

I’m an incoming freshman and got invited to be a RISE scholar, has anyone done it in the past? is it worth it as a fgli student??
