on the pill for 6 years

F26 I have been on the pill for a little over 6 years, (20-26) and it’s the only birth control I’ve ever been on. I plan to stop taking it this month for the first time in 6 years with the objective of trying to conceive.
Any experiences with long term use and what to expect going off it? any side effects I should be aware of?

question involving weight pls no judgement

F26 started the pill at 20, no other bc history.
To preface, as a teenager I was always slightly-moderately overweight. In my late teens I lost quite a bit of weight naturally, and then at 20 I went on the pill and gained it all back, and I’ve stayed between 195-220 the whole 6 years I’ve been on it (20-26)

(Also will mention I’ve never been one to count calories or think much about what I’m eating besides just trying to make healthier choices and smart portion sizes. I’m not looking for diet advice, if I change my eating habits it will be unrelated to my question)

My question is this: if I gained weight as a direct result of the pill, stayed on the pill for 6 years and stayed generally the same weight the whole time, what is the likelihood I will lose it when I go off? (Cold turkey, fiancé and I are considering TTC) Lots of things online say to not expect any change as a result of the pill but I suppose I was just wondering if anyone had a relevant experience to share

I know Google is free but with AI answering everything I’d rather just ask on here.
