Hello again drivers of reddit, i want to upgrade my (garbage) raceland coilovers to actually enjoy driving my miata. i did some research and came to Tecna Supermiatas. Thoughts, Opinions or Advice?
My goal here is to make a daily driveable car that i can take to the track once a month. I am NOT trying to make a track car yet. I bought the car with raceland coilovers (not sure which one exactly) but anytime theres even a crack in the road i feel it vibrate through the chasis and if theres a bump or railroad... lord have mercy upon me.
So after doing my part and researching before asking like an idiot i came to Tecna SuperMiatas and i wanted thoughs, opinions and advice on them or what i should do. I originally was gonna get some Meister R's but was on the fence between those and FM's V-Maxx's. Eventually i found a post talking about how smooth they are and their performance and it seemed to match up with what im looking for.
To wrap it up, i wanted to know, are they overkill for a spirited driver who wants to take his car to the track here and there or are they a cry once buy once kinda upgrade that i won't regret. Are they fine for daily street usage or catered more for track use? What are some common issues and solutions for them?
TLDR: Are Tecna SuperMiata GT's Overkill for spirited daily driving or get something cheaper? (Budget: <$1500)
Edit: i have now found another competitor to the Tecnas; Bilstein B14's.
