How would the bite be right now after all that rain on suburban ponds?

As the title suggests I was hoping some of my brothers and sisters to the North could give me an honest referral.

Short background, my daughters (18) & (15) love the movie the Great Outdoors and I’m looking to recreate that experience for them. I was hoping you guys and gals could recommend a clear lake with boat rental and a fun downtown that we could visit for a week. Some decent fishing would be a bonus.

I’ll take the pounding as a FIB,
but hoping for some Midwest kindness.
