The state of the Fatui
I remember being pre registered for Genshin Impact. I was so excited to when I saw the Fatui Harbingers. I loved La Signora especially. I remember being so excited for Snezhnaya, as I assumed that would be a great moment to see the Fatui in action. Now we only have 4 (maybe 5) active members. I’m not really sure what they’ll do with Sandrone
But seriously, what is going ON with the Fatui? With Columbina, the other harbinger’s voice lines suggested a way more different image of who she was supposed to be. I get that a lot of people have said it was just “headcanons” but with the voice lines, it does sort of feel like an understandable assumption/theory. Not only that, she was no.3 of the harbingers. Did that not mean anything?
Then there’s Capitano. We already saw what happened to him in Natlan. It was a shame, as I was saving for him. There’s also dottore, a character who’s been here since the Genshin webtoon. With him gone, there goes the elixir of immortality. I’m not sure what’s going to happen with Pantalone then.
Sandrone is playable, but there’s no Pulonia and her design is.. well. Wanderer had a redesign that showcased his growth and development as a character. Sandrone just has no Pulonia, a female robot, and a shortened skirt length. They definitely could’ve kept her og skirt length.
Some of the most awaited harbingers are just gone. Just like that! What does Hoyo even plan to do in Snezhnaya? The top 3 are pretty much gone. Sometimes the Fatui feels like it’s just “evil Dottore and friends.”
I was also excited for the Tsaritsa. But seeing Sandrone’s redesign and Raiden’s design in general has me nervous for when she comes out. I’m still on some copium that my favorite harbingers can still come back and be playable, so I’ll continue to save for them (and the Tsaritsa). I’m still hopeful and excited for Snezhnaya in all honesty, I just wonder what they plan to do now
