Vortioxatine side effects (dies it go away with time)
Female, 22. I’m on day 6 of Vortioxetine and since day 3 I’ve had severe watery diarrhea. I’m staying hydrated and taking electrolytes. My pharmacist suggested Loperamide until I can reach my psychiatrist.
( i can’t reach my psychiatrist at the moment)
For psychiatrists/patients with experience: do GI side effects like diarrhea usually improve with time on vortioxetine, or is this a sign the medication probably won’t suit me? I’m willing to wait it out if this is temporary.
