Sadly another red arrow for Kneejerk United as the penultimate gameweek of the season draws to a close.     

Star players of the week include Saka (assist, def con, bonus points), Haaland (goal and bonus), Gabriel (clean sheet), and our captain, Bruno Fernandes (two assists and bonus). Everyone else blanked.     

Frustratingly, going all in on Brighton (having previously brought us so much joy in previous weeks), cost us a green arrow this time. Despite Brighton having two thirds of possession and racking up 3.06 xG, Leeds came away with a 1-0 win. And worse, Darlow (11 points) and Calvert-Lewin (7 points) languish on our bench. This is why we love FPL.    

This all contributed to a total overall score of 56 points and a GW Rank of 6,013,775.

No changes in the Community Teams league where we hold steady in fifth place. The gap to bridge to fourth place now looking likely to be a little too far as we enter the final week.     

No change at the top of the Kneejerk League with But I Won on xG holding steady, but the gap to second place narrowing to 30 points. We assume winning the Kneejerk League is top of their priorities sitting at 181 in the world.

Another red arrow for Kneejerk United this week in a classic FPL double gameweek in which Pep did Pep things.     

On a positive note, it's always welcome to see double digit hauls - this week from Gabriel (clean sheet, def con, bonus) and Captain Haaland (goal, assist, bonus).      

But it could have been so much more had our double gameweek players been selected to... you know... actually play two games. It was obviously a relief to see new signing Cherki get an assist during the 11 minutes he played in the second game, while O'Reilly also got a single clean sheet before being omitted from the squad in the second game.     

Six points each for the V team, Verbruggen and Van Hecke after Brighton secured a clean sheet. Groß also got us an assist, making it three out of three returns for our Brighton players.   

Calvert-Lewin scored from the penalty spot after one of his team mates got kicked in the head from a bicycle kick. We thank him for his service to FPL.    

This all contributed to a total overall score of 75 points and a GW Rank of 4,542,359.

A small red arrow for Kneejerk United this week, bringing to an end our streak of greens. Fortunately, it was only a small fall in the rankings and the team remains in a strong position as we head into the final double gameweek of the season.

João Pedro was our star man after getting a goal and two bonus points, while we also benefited from a trio of assists in midfield from Bruno and new signings: Cherki, and Gibbs-White.

Haaland also rewarded our faith in his captaincy with a goal.

Frustratingly, our top scorer for the week (James Hill) sits on the bench. Classic FPL.

This all contributed to a total overall score of 55 points and (after the lofty heights we reached last week) a humbling GW Rank of 4,907,027.

Another great gameweek for Kneejerk United after making use of our Free Hit chip. A fifth green arrow in a row takes us up another 220k places in the overall rankings.

Three of the team gave us double digit returns (Gibbs-White, Raya, and Bowen), while Dewsbury-Hall and Bruno each got attacking returns.

Despite some concerns raised prior to the GW deadline about triple Arsenal defence, the community held its nerve and was rewarded for its courage with clean sheet points. And Pedro Porro proved a worthy punt registering a clean sheet and def con points.

Indeed, of our starting XI, only Salah and Thiago failed to register a return.

This all contributed to a total overall score of 80 points and a phenomenal GW Rank of 24,059.

A fantastic gameweek for Kneejerk United after utilising our Bench Boost chip, with a huge green arrow moving us up nearly half a million places in the overall rankings! Let's keep that momentum going as we use our Free Hit chip this week - click here to get involved!       

12 out of our 15 players managed to get returns with only Palmer, João Pedro, and Gabriel registering blanks/zero points.    

Double Brighton defence paid off for the second week running, with a combined 20 points. And Pascal Groß was the hero of the Kneejerk team, registering attacking returns in both games and five bonus points.   

Other worthy mentions, Tavernier, O'Reilly, and Calvert Lewin all scored goals, and double Leeds defence got us 18 points as well. Captain Haaland didn't disappoint with two goals scored.    

This all contributed to a total overall score of 128 points and a GW Rank of 115,292.

It's day five of building our Free Hit team! Yesterday the community chose to add Thiago, Gibbs-White, and Mukiele to complete the first draft of the team sheet.     

Today we're asking you to make suggestions for any final changes to the team. We have £0.4m remaining budget in the bank and unlimited changes. We already have three Arsenal players, and two from Sunderland, Spurs, Everton, and Liverpool.
