My experience with Raya - 3 months wait, now getting flown out
I know Raya gets a lot of mixed opinions online, but honestly my experience has been surprisingly good overall.
I originally applied with just my Instagram account - it was private with around 100 followers and of course there was absolutely no movement 😅 I stayed on the waitlist for almost 3 months. Then one of my friends referred me, and not long after that I got accepted.
The quality difference compared to other dating apps is very noticeable. The amount of really attractive, successful and well-traveled people is incredible. The overall vibe feels much more elevated in comparison to other dating apps (even Hinge).
I’ve also seen a surprising number of celebrities / football players because Raya gives you recommendations from all over the world.
One thing that’s funny though: a lot of guys don’t even message on the app - they’ll just find your Instagram and start stalking you there instead.
But real dates definitely happen too. For example, I matched with a guy from my city and now he’s flying me out to an island for our third date, fully planned and paid for lol
So for me personally, Raya ended up being worth it.
