Update: I did watch some of her husband's video interview on the whatever podcast with a young feminist named Charly. She told him she was not a professional debater. She had some statements about him and his wife which were true, and his main debate tactic was ad hominem or calling her vile names. Sorry if this offends anyone but he would call her a "stupid bitch," (multiple times) or refer in a very derogatory way to her lesbian orientation. I won't repeat what he said here. And then his wife gets on the call and he is so upset he leaves the table and lets Rachel "own" this Charly. She explained that the reason she had kids by three different dads was that one of her marriages ended, the second was physically abusive, and that she had been married to Prince Andrew (my words) for 18 years. My shock (as an abuse survivor) given her history is HOW do you go from that to making statements like "My body, my husband's choice" and being a spokesperson for the patriarchy including saying that women should not vote? And her husband is just disgusting. I don't even want to repeat some of what he said here, but if my husband ever spoke to anyone like this I would seriously be questioning my safety. What if she ever disagrees with him? And they are all over the internet now, she was even on Joe Rogan. Have people lost their freaking minds?

I did watch some of the video. There are historical connections between spiritualism and the suffragette movement which is interesting. She (Rachel) is very articulate and I could see how some could be convinced by her. I then looked at her X account which is called Rach4Patriarchy which honestly made me ill. One of her quotes is "My body, my husband's choice." Jonathan Pageau is not even pretending to be moderate anymore. I am honestly really sad. I am not a good debater, and do not have the "chops" to "own" anyone, even though I am fairly intelligent and well read. It is just so exhausting to me that someone's whole identity is based on tearing other people down.

I am honestly surprised at this collab. I saw that Trenham was on a Pageau interview but wow. For a time I really got into Pageau's symbolic schtick. It seems that he has gotten more and more obviously conservative. Thoughts?

I did not know until recently that John Chrysostom said that a marriage could not be a democracy. I know he is the "father of fathers" of the EO. Here is what chat GPT said:
