So the algorithm on insta has been bringing this specific ad with this very book across my feed A LOT. So I was like aight, let me note down the sale date and see how money goes then. If I can afford it I’ll buy it.

Dang thing cost me almost 60£ I believe but hey, I’m a sucker for pretty books and I caved in. They also posted a story on Saturday iirc with very low stock so that’s that. No regrets.

Just curious to see if anyone’s gotten their boxes in this sub? Or bought any other preorders? How’s the quality and binding? I personally really love the design of this book and haven’t read it yet even though I threw 60£ on it, if I don’t like the story I’ll just keep it on my shelf for the visuals hah 🫠 I hate being an adult and taking very adult-y decisions (tis not one of them). I also like that it has 4 bound-in overlays.

To the people who got it, plain edges or sprayed edges? With or without the overlays?

To the people who didn’t get it, I can guess why. 😂 But hey, they estimate shipping in December/January so fingers crossed. They seem to be replying to comments on IG saying that they are finally settling into their new distribution centre I believe so who knows, we’ll probably be pleasantly surprised in the future. 😊 I’m being optimistic. 😁

This is supposedly going to be November’s pick, but not 100% sure so don’t take my word for it.

I will have to search for someone to save them a skip though 😂

Found on vinted! My set is out for delivery as well.

Personally I…. Don’t know how I feel about them? 😅 I hope I’ll like them more when they arrive. 🫠

Who is getting this today?

I was so undecided whether to get it or not because August is just SO expensive! WOLH yesterday, The Exquisite Torment of Loving your Enemy last week, OUABH upcoming, the bookish box bride and mate…. My wallet can’t keep up 🫠

These are from the author’s website and I’m highkey surprised I haven’t seen them circulating around more. 🥹

I don’t want to talk about how much I ended up paying to have these shipped to the UK (I’m officially in an enemy relationship with Stackry) but hey, at least I’ve finally got them on my bookshelf. 🙂‍↕️

I can’t wait to rearrange it this weekend as I have so many books just lying around and waiting for their spot on the shelf 😂😅

So I have come across this edition on Vinted (of course I had to buy it because I’m weak when I see pretty covers) and I was wondering if anyone else has heard of them and has any of their other books?

I do believe they have only recently started the monthly subscription, I think. I’m very tempted to subscribe as they promote indie authors.

I was considering skipping August as I wasn’t 100% sold on the pick, and of course the spoilers had to come in and change my mind 🫠

I love the hardcover art, imagine the edges and overlay 😂🤌

Came across it on vinted and of course I had to buy it second hand 😅 I’m such a sucker for foxes, and while I’m usually not a fan of Locked Library/Forbidden Wing, I really find this design pretty and the endpapers pleasant as well.

What do we think?

Ok fairyloot I see you…. I really enjoy this design! Although I cancelled my YA sub, I think I’ll be buying this one (photos taken from Vinted).

Honestly melted my heart and I was so ready to cry.
Me and my partner got him used to daily evening walks now, and we took him out on Sunday evening and after a solid 40min nap he woke up wanting to be held and made our day with these little sounds. 🥹 Unfortunately my partner didn’t manage to catch his first laughs, but at least we’ve got these.

No baby has been harmed in the taking of these pictures - just extreme sleepiness as he dozed off 1min after.

I’ve tried so many pacis and he only accepts these ones. + the non glow in the dark as well of course.

He’s smiling more and more and I think my heart will just explode with love one day, I can feel it. The moment he’ll give me a big laugh will be the end of me.

I know quite a few people wanted this one, especially the pink one.
Well, it’s on sale today. 😄

Haven’t seen anyone make a post about this and wayward’s post randomly popped on my IG feed.

Well, safe to say it’ll be a sale outside the sub, not a sub pick unfortunately (as we all knew by now).

Safe to say that I absolutely LOVE this edition and how pretty it looks next to The Courting of Bristol Keats.

Also pink + green combo? *chef’s kiss*

And the endpaper art is absolutely divine imo. They’ll be staying on my shelf forever.

I saw duckhymn hardcover and I just know I’m now not skipping this anymore 😂😅

I am absolutely insanely in love with this design. 🫪❤️
I’m really enjoying TBC’s designs but dang, I heard this series will have 12 books??
