This was one of the takes from something I rehearsed for an online contest. I doubt I sound Canadian or even North American though (I grew up multicultural btw). What do I sound like?
I’m attempting to begin a small online music contest where people submit original songs representing different countries. Think Eurovision energy, but DIY and community-based.
I’m trying to improve the sound quality of the entries, so I’m looking for an audio engineer who’d be interested in helping polish songs that participants submit.
Not looking for anything formal or industry-level. Just people who enjoy production and might want to:
• mix or master tracks
• clean up rough demos
• help improve arrangement or overall sound

A few important notes so it’s clear:
This is not a sound engineering competition
Audio engineers don’t compete or vote
It’s a collaboration role, not a judging role
No payment involved (just a creative/community project)
Contest basics:
Original songs only (no covers or samples)
Each country submits 1 entry
Songs are uploaded to YouTube and added to a playlist
Final show is 60% jury / 40% public vote
Around 12–15 entries per edition
