I bought a nano 4th and thought I could replace the battery

I watched some iPod classics modify posts and videos. I really thought all iPods could be modified (extend storage, change shells etc) and bought this battery dead nano 4th from a secondhand shop without hesitation .

When I googled how to replace the battery of a nano 4th, it says it’s “very difficult “….

Still I give it a go and now luckily i have opened it and removed the battery.

Then there is the question, is it must to buy a soldering iron? A soldering iron or a kit with lots of stuffs I haven’t googled what are they.

Any advice is welcomed.

I’ll update this post.
