Looking worse before it gets better?
Hello! If this post has been made several hundred times, I apologize. Just looking for advice!
I've lost a little over 10 pounds in a month and a half (starting at 210lbs, now ~198lbs. I've done this by calculating my TDEE, eating in a deficit, going for short walks during work and going to the gym 4x a week.
At the gym, I strength train for an hour of full body and cardio for 30-40 mins on an incline of 8 at 2.5mph. 3-4 sets with 10 - to failure reps. I'm a 5'7" 27yo woman if that helps.
While I definitely feel lighter, I still don't exactly *look* like I'm losing weight. In fact, I look as if my body is a worse version of skinny fat. I'm definitely not going to give up since I want to do this for health and aesthetic reasons but it does mess with me times. It makes me feel like I'm at a plateau.
Anyone else going through this as well? How do you get past this? Thanks in advance!
