Echo Mini issues with Bluetooth headphones

I listen using Sennheiser HD 450BT and they work without issue for every other device I use. But with Echo Mini, I have to re-pair them every time I turn the device on, or when playback stops.

Ex I've been listening to an album, it finished and I want to listen to another album - I have to pair my headphones again, or even restart the Echo entirely. Or if I've been listening to music during morning commute, turned the Echo and headphones off, and then want to start listening again during evening commute, they won't work. The headphones are on and show as paired in the menu, Bluetooth is on in Echo and song shows as playing, but no sound is heard.

Does anyone have any idea what's up? I recently updated the firmware, it's on 3.4.0

Can someone explain these Settings to me?

Hi! I'm completely new to music collecting - only used streaming so far and never really had an extensive audio file library. I therefore don't know much about DAPs and audio-related terminology, and there are some settings in the Echo Mini that are confusing to me.

Can someone tell me what these do?

  • Loop setting: Loop once - does it loop one song? Or simply loops whatever I told it to play (like a folder) one time, then stops?
  • Loop setting: Sequential play - I don't know what this means at all
  • Loop setting: Folder jump song - I don't know what this means at all
  • Filter - I don't know what this is for or what any of these mean
  • Gain Adjustment - I don't know what this is for or what any of these mean

Thank you!
