First Gunpla experience :)
Though I never watched any of the movies/shows, mecha is something that always interested me and I thought the designs from Witch of Mercury were pretty cool (even though I didn’t know what the Calibarn was and only recognised the Aerial)
So I was bored and while walking in Don Don Donki saw this kit for cheap and picked it up on a whim, only while watching mecha gaikotsu in the middle of building was kinda surprised I picked up one of the best HG kits.
Thoughts when building: definitely need proper tools lol, I used a travel manicure kit with cuticle trimmers, nail file, tweezers from a Swiss Army knife to do some fine sticker placement, sanding down, and cutting. On the back of the head I made a small dent from poor snipping off of runner residue but it’s not candle from the front so I’m not too too fussed.
The stickers on the broom were quite tedious thankfully I’m rather patient and not too perfectionist; happy with how those turned out.
If I were to nitpick I would wish extra pieces can be included to swap out the sections that force you to have one fixed sticker option but I can totally see why they just make you pick one.
Really happy with my first experience! Can’t wait to build more!
