Experimenting & having fun

I tried to chase the meta at the start of the season, but I just couldn't get the builds to click with me. Temporarily dropped sorc for Paladin, and home-brewed something that was really fun and is doing fine in T12 so came back to sorc to try again.

I love hydra, and I love damage over time so I have been committed to finding a burning hydra build. I am now finally sitting very comfortably in T10 and farming for glyph levels and trying to find (slowly) multi-GA gear.

I'm using the uncanny insight conjuration set, and after I dropped an Orsivane charm with +3 to conjuration skills (ignore that the planner says pyromancy) decided to go all in with that as well. So 0 defensive skills on bars, and using teleport-evade to keep the tactician bonus up easily with a 20 second duration.

Gameplay loop is fairly simple: Evade to get tactician, inferno to over-cap overpower and start the armageddon bonus then cast hydras until you trigger the 3rd hydra from the enchant, then dodge until inferno is off cooldown again, repeat.

Untested against Mephisto T10 yet as I waiting on a loot key to drop, but clears other T10 bosses just fine.

What I want to work in is, of all the skills on my bar, I only cast (apart from inferno and hydra), blizzard. Ice Blades enchant procs occasionally (from use of inferno) but I never cast it manually as I want hydra reducing inferno cooldown. Same goes for lightning spear but it never procs as I'm not generating crackling energy. Familiar is fine, not self cast, but the enchant procs fire familiars reasonably often. The reason the first two are there is to proc Elemental Constellation, but is there a better way to do that with skills that might actually contribute something to the build?

Side note: I hate trying to farm an ancestral/ GA Temerity with useful stats!

The one aspect I really need and is the only one I haven't found. Nothing from obols, bartering, run out of horadric materials upgrading rares to to try and find. Clearly I am not grinding hard enough!
