Spica3+Sigpro+Spornia?

The context:

I was/am postponing buying a setup, because I want an indoor golf sim but don't have the room (or rather, the height). So I've been waiting until I move, but the itch remains and I'm thinking: I could already buy a launch monitor, net, and mat, and just practice in the backyard. I can re-use the launch monitor if I eventually build an indoor sim. I also don't want to wait too much longer, because I'd like it if my kid and I are able to practice at home together when he's old enough.

I was set on getting a Foresight GC3, but lately I've been seeing the Spica3 pop up as a great alternative. I live in the EU, so the GC3 is EUR 9000, while the Spica3 is EUR 4200 (both without discounts).

I've read there is a new version of the Spica3 out or just around the corner too - I think I'll ask them if I can order the new version.

The questions:

  1. Is the new Spica3 a good choice, or should I splurge on a GC3 (or something else)?
  2. If I would buy a GC3 second hand, what would be the ballpark figure? I've seen some on offer for EUR ~5000
  3. I was thinking of getting a sigpro or fiberbuilt mat, and a spornia net with shank nets. Good choices? Recommendations?
  4. Realistically, how long do you think it would take me to set up and break down if I want to play an afternoon?
  5. Can I just use an Ipad, or do I need a gaming laptop?

Thanks for your time!
