Sleepnumber moved to high altitude
We recently moved to 7000 feet after living at sea level. We got our SleepNumber bed at sea level and have used it for nine years without problems. We were so tired and my husband got sick during the move so we weren't at 100%. He took the mattress apart before the move by following the instructions, but we didn't realize that there were instructions specific to moving to a higher altitude. He didn't deflate the bed before moving it and now it hasn't worked right at all. We've tried all of the recommended fixes but no dice. Before we waste money on a big customer service thing, I was just wondering if anyone here might be able to tell me if it's a lost cause. We inflate it every night and it deflates slowly over night at different rates on both sides. My back is killing me. I think it's time to bite the bullet, even though after a move, buying a mattress is really financially painful. We both sleep at around 85-90% fullness. I'm sure if we just got a regular firm mattress we would be fine. Any advice?
