Kuro UBW Chant.
I recently got through fate stay night prisma Illya and while I have a number of…oppinions. None of my gripes are what I am here to talk about today.
Kuro or Chloe idk what the fandom perfers to call her. Doesn’t have UBW, maybe she will get it eventually, but from my 5 seconds of google searching she doesn’t have it in the manga.
Miyuverse Shirou really amazed me in a lot of ways and one thing that stood out to me how diffrent his UBW chant was, and when I went to look it up, what do you know every Shirou has a whole 2nd section to their UBW chant that I just didn’t know and I guess only Miyuverse Shirou uses it to summon UBW.
Anyway got me thinking about how intresting the chants were and how it says something diffrent about each version of Shirou, esspecially the parts I didn’t know about the chant. ”This life has no meaning”/“My life needs no meaning” as an example of Archer vs UBW Shirou.
So got me thinking, how do you think Kuro’s chant would go if she gained access to UBW?
Here is the link to the chants if you want to see them yourself
Here is the chant I ended up comming up for Kuro. Feel free to criticize, though if you do I ask you also make your own, we’re all here to have fun and all.
While I did try to keep as close as I can to her character, someone who would sacrifce the world for the one she cares for, someone who has dealt with the fact that she may be a just a copy of someone else, someone willing to be considered evil for the people she cares about, and someone unwilling to loose what she has. Though I will be honest if I thought it felt right I put it in, if I didn’t like how it sounded I took it out, it wasnt that deep.
I am the bone of my sword.
Steel is my body, and fire is my blood.
I have created over a thousand blades.
Unaware of the world,
Nor aware of the self.
Having withstood pain to create weapons, never letting them go.
I choose this sin. I need no heaven.
This I swear, Unlimited Blade Works.
My body is made of swords.
My blood is of iron and my heart of glass.
Through countless battlefields undefeated.
Not even once hesitating,
Not even once regretting.
She was never alone, grasping for life beyond the hill of swords.
Thus, this life has found its meaning.
This false body is still made of swords.
