Questions about going on a trip with a large dog
Hey y'all,
Per the title, My friends and I are planning a 3 night trip at the beach in a few months, and I'm undecided on whether I'd like to bring my dog or not.
Some relevant info:
He's a little over 1 year old and roughly 110lbs
He's house trained, but only spends morning/evenings inside; otherwise while I'm at work during the day he's used to being outside in my large, fenced yard(with custom built dog house).
Because of this he's not quite used to being inside with me all day, and I'm actually not sure if/how he'd tell me if he needed to go to the bathroom.
The AirBnB we're staying at is dog friendly, and we already told them he'd likely be coming.
With this, they've already stated that they do not have a fenced yard.
While I trust him off leash outside, I wouldn't trust him to be off leash, unsupervised outside.
He's used to sleeping in the same room as me at night(though on the floor, not in my bed).
However during this trip I'll be sharing the room with several others, and I'm not sure it'd be fair to them to expect to have him in the room with us(he tends to wake me up between 6:30-7 in the morning, though is otherwise quiet through the night).
He's also never been in a kennel, so he's not kennel trained, nor do I even own one.
I've looked into getting one for a breed his size(think Irish Wolfhound for size), and it doesn't quite seem worth it for how little I'd be apt to use it.
I'd really like to bring him, but it's a rather long car drive to where we're staying, and I'm worried I'll wind up regretting having brought him, as I've never taken him on a trip like this before(this will be my first trip since I got him).
Worst case scenario my parents have watched him for me for a night or two in the past, and have a pretty good space for it, but they have already set the precedent for forgetting to bring him inside at night, and I'd prefer not to do that to him if possible.

All of that said, do y'all have any tips on how I could make bringing him work?
Are there any considerations you think I'm missing?
Any tools or supplies I may want to consider getting/bringing?
Appreciate any help I can get
I can of course provide any clarifications needed
