TLDR: Lost show found!

Fellow Retro YTV enjoyers: This thread is dedicated to the "lost show" 2030 CE. Please reply if you want to discuss episodes, share a memory, or just show your appreciation for the series! If it breaks the rules, or if there's enough interest, I may create a new subreddit.

Background: I became obsessed with the show, having watched episode 1 when YTV first aired it in 2002. The plot was so dark, exciting and intriguing, but certain scenes freaked me out, so I never finished watching it.

2016: More than decade went by and something reminded me of the show, although, I can't remember what. Itching to watch it again, and to know the ending, I tried to find episodes online. To my disappointment, nearly all traces of the show had been erased, with only a few clips from VHS rips uploaded to YouTube. I did some digging on the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, and the IMDb discussion forums, but those searches weren't fruitful.

2020: The COVID virus, lockdowns, losing family, and other life events reminded me of the show's plot and reignited my interest in the series. Like others did, I reached out to the production/distribution company Minds Eye Entertainment, as well as Library & Archives Canada. The search seemed hopeful, but it ran into a roadblock and a dead end. I accepted defeat and moved on...

Fast forward to 2026: More than two decades after first seeing the show, I was yet again reminded of it. The stars aligned and I found a humble soul who managed to save copies of the full episodes! I'm extremely thankful, but out of privacy, I won't name them... (If you're reading this, thank you!)

The complete series can be watched on my Youtube channel dedicated to preserving the show; possibly the only place you'll find full episodes, plus behind-the-scenes cast, crew and set photos. The channel will never be monetized, promote ads, or use AI in photos or descriptions. If the channel gets nuked, I have backups of the episodes and can be contacted at Archive2030CE at Gmail. My DMs are also open, if you wish to share any content with the channel/archive.

If there's a "lost show" you can't find, don't give up hope. You may just find it if you keep looking.
