Hey everyone, I know this is likely asked before. I recently got invisaligners as my friends are also doing them at the same time. However for me, it seems I get a ton of pain and they feel welded to my teeth. I got 23 attachments and they always get stuck on my fangs or some other tooth like the front ones. So I'm genuinely lost on what to do or how to pull in a way that doesn't hurt. And yea even putting them sucks but it's less painful
Idk if this continues and I'm on my 3rd set day 1, I may go with normal braces. I just hope they wouldn't feel like I'm about to pull my fangs out. I can only remove them at home now before leaving because no way I will do this in public
So I just realized my screen now has over 2.2k hours and my usage is mainly gaming and media at maximum brightness and even HDR brightness in SDR with (Peak Brightness Setting set to HIGH). I will outline what my usage is below, you can read the short version or full version.
Playing MP games like BF6, Overwatch and Gacha games like Genshin NTE, ZZZ and BA with their bright elements and white backgrounds at peak brightness. No observed image retention or burn in under color screens and grey scale. Brightness while I tested visually, it's still painful to look at, brightness and colors look as hard hitting as ever
==============================================================
I gotten the screen over two years now and while I was quite scared of using it, I slowly tried pushing my comfort zone. Thanks to all the other reports here and on YT, it showed me that an OLED screen won't be damaged by normal gaming usage despite HUD elements
I think I pretty much tortured this screen because I ran it at either 100% brightness or 100% + Peak brightness set to high. This is a setting that makes the screen reach the HDR brightness levels in SDR content and kinda doubles how bright the screen can be
Gaming:
I wanted to make this post in case anyone is worried about gaming on their OLED screen. And clarify that unless you just keep the screen at something and walk away, it will most certainly be fine. I looked very closely for nearly 10 mins and didn't find any burn in at all. However to clarify, I have another screen for anything but gaming and media. So my OLED is just reserved for gaming and watching stuff like movies or anime. All refresh cycles were allowed to pass.
I will continue using the screen as usual and not overly worry about burn in because it doesn't seem like a likely case with basic usage. Perhaps at 3k hours but I doubt it. But don't forget something, burn in starts so faint and you must search for it. I would argue the dirty screen effect on my last screen is way worse than burn in's I see on YT. Therefore game on your screens and don't let the stress overshadow the amazing looks of such screens. Thanks for reading my essay and I hope this brought you some comfort in using your screen =)
Windows:
Dark mode, no taskbar(Preference), Wallpaper engine colorful wallpaper. 10 mins auto screen saver, screen set to 1% brightness or picture off when not using it. Since in case it wakes up when I'm outside, it will be at 1% brightness
