Image 1 — Saw a F35c and C-130 flying in earlier this week, were there a few more loud f35 yesterday too?

First time photographing Sprites (upper-atmosphere lightning) during last week's storms!

Ever seen red flashes above distant thunderstorms? Sprites are brief millisecond bursts of upper-atmosphere lightning that happen far far above powerful storms

Caught these during last week's storms looking towards SE as it moved over eastern Oklahoma. While the flashes were quick, they're also visible to the naked eye once you get adjusted to the dark. Happy to finally catch my first ones

Rough composition of the Milky Way arch without the tracker at the end of the session. Stitched 3 rows of images (19 individual images) together. Artifacts from the stitching and longer exposure are still visible but not too bad for the first 2026 attempt.

Need to process the tracked version even though that was a lot more challenging to make consistent panels without a proper leveling base.
