I am attending a black tie wedding in a few months in Florida, so I'm looking for a fabric well suited to heat and humidity. I have read mohair wool blends do well, but I have only been able to find one at Spier & Mackay in midnight. I am a little hesitant because i have read they tend to fit slim, and I am used to the brooks brothers classic cut. I have also understood midnight to be a classic tuxedo color, but I am still hesitant if would still be conservative enough in color for say, a black tie political fundraiser. Opinions on this matter are welcome and appreciated, as well as any other suggestions or options to consider. I think I would be happy with the S&M so long as it fits well and is good at being a standard black tie costume.
