Hello, I have some hatchlings with some beautiful colors, but I’m unsure as to what morphs they could be. Any ideas?
The mother is a Bamboo Calico Pastel
And who I think is the father, is a banana. I’m not 100% sure he’s the father(long story).
I think I have
1: a normal, possibly calico.
2: pastel, possibly calico.
3: bamboo, banana, maybe pastel, maybe calico
Is it worth waiting until their first shed to find out what morphs they are?
Hello, last year, I got two beautiful ball pythons for a breeding project. Before you judge and freak out over why I’m breeding bp’s, I bred them because I had several family members wanting similar morphed snakes. I am experienced in breeding and the caretaking of reptiles. However, this is my first time breeding ball pythons, and I’m not too familiar with the morphs. I’m constantly learning, but these have got me a bit stumped.
The mother is a Bamboo, Calico, Pastel, and the father is a Banana. Or at least I think he’s the father. There’s a chance the mother was paired with a different male before I got her.
Anyways, the first babies have pipped and it looks like the first is a normal. They haven’t come completely out yet, so my interpretation could change. The second baby looks kind of white and black and I don’t know what morphs it would be, if the father was a banana.
P.S. I know the eggs look kind of gross, but don’t mind that. What do you think is going on with these babies?
