Past UAs causing current bonus to be rejected?
Some context, if anyone can point me in the right direction:
A few years ago I requested to transfer to the IRR. Had the approval date in NSIPS and everything. Looks like it didn't actually go through, so I was gone an entire year (18 UAs and the rest AAs). When they contacted me saying I'm still obligated to drill, I started drilling again and was placed on probation for six months.
January of last year I commissioned with an eligible bonus. It's taken a while (various kick backs) but this latest email I got back says because I was an unsat driller in 2023 I'm ineligible for a bonus.
I guess my question is, do those previous UAs really just lock me out from any further bonuses? Admin said I can try to get a UA removal letter but my COs from that period are gone and the new one (understandably) won't sign off on it. I tried MyNavyHR and they recommended a BCNR but how would that work because technically I *was* UA, so what would those actually switch to?
Thanks for any help. Honestly if I'm blocked from any future bonuses I'm just going to try to get out again lol
