Looking to upgrade from a Canon T6. Need help and suggestions!
I have been shooting for ~2 years now, and feel like it's finally time for me to upgrade from my canon T6 (1300D).
My current lenses:
Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC HSM (EF-S)
Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM (MK 1) (EF)
Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 (EF) (Used for astrophotography)
I am a college student with a budget of about $1250-1500 USD *as of now*. Eventually I'll save enough to spend more on lenses, but I want to get a new camera body to use for summer as I'll be doing some traveling.
I mainly shoot nature (landscapes/scenery), astrophotography, and street.
Option 1: Canon R8 + either a Sigma 35mm adapted OR Canon RF 45mm.
Option 2: Canon R10, adapt current Sigma 30mm, save for 24-70 f2.8, then upgrade to R8
Option 3: Switch to sony
Only because of their wider lens selection. I'd probably get something from the A6000 series of sony cameras.
All cameras/lenses I would buy refurbished/used.
TLDR: should I go full frame? stick with canon or go with sony?
Let me know your suggestions, and any questions you might have 😄
