Mentally I’m a divorced woman shopping in Monaco.

Bought this AP-style chronograph and immediately started acting like my ex-husband ruined my trust fund.

Something about diamond bezels, white rubber straps, and oversized plush animals creates a level of delusion that honestly feels medically concerning.

The craziest part is how fast luxury watches stop being “accessories” and turn into tiny personality disorders.

Five minutes after putting this on, I was already:

* drinking sparkling water more aggressively

* saying “summering” instead of “vacation”

* and mentally blaming staff that do not exist

The giant elephant in the background really completes the aesthetic of:

“emotionally unstable but deeply committed to looking expensive.”

And honestly?

I fully understand how rich people become insane now.

Tried showing off this watch… my friend said it looks like his $10 gym watch.

I thought the sunburst brown dial, clean case design, and comfortable rubber strap would get at least a little appreciation.

Instead, my friend looked at it for two seconds and said it reminded him of his workout watch.

I’m still not sure whether to laugh or feel mildly offended.

I guess that’s the reality of this hobby.

Most people just see “a watch.”

Would you be offended, or take it as a compliment that good design can look so effortless?
