How to find a career to switch to at 24 years old?
I am a 24 year old who is getting discharged from the military. I have been in for 6 years as a helicopter mechanic. My original plan was to become an aircraft mechanic outside of the military however a string of recent injuries and surgeries are putting that career choice at jeopardy and now I need to think of a back up career plan.
I have 0 college so Ill be using my gi bill on whatever I choose but now that my skillset, knowledge, experience, and interest is thrown out, I am clueless on what I should do.
Does anyone have any advice/experience/tips on how to find a career field that I may enjoy that will pay well, respect my physical limitations, and be interesting and engaging enough to where i wont be absolutely miserable and bored out of my mind?
