Can Chris Hansen's interviews be used as evidence? (5th Amendment issue?)

Can Chris Hansen's interviews be used as evidence? (5th Amendment issue?)

I've been watching some of the new series by Chris Hansen, called "Takedown" (essentially a modern reboot of his original "To Catch a Predator").

There are episodes like this - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tidXpPS6tV4 - where the suspect is arrested, then brought before Chris Hansen, who interrogates the suspect while they are in custody. I've been wondering - to what extent could the suspect's statements be used as evidence? In the clip I've linked, we do not see the police Mirandize the suspect (of course this part could have been cut out of the video). But let's say this was the course of events:

Police set up sting, suspect arrives at sting house, police arrest suspect, handcuff him, and sit him down in a chair across from Chris Hansen (a journalist, not law enforcement), who begins to ask him questions about the alleged crime.

Is there a 5th Amendment issue if the police do not Mirandize a detainee, but forcibly place them, handcuffed, in front of a non-LEO who essentially begins to interrogate them? There are even episodes where Hansen implies that the suspect has to talk to him.

In this episode - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7Mw_nLH1og - the suspect appears to be Mirandized after being questioned by Hansen (I didn't lead with that clip since the suspect refuses to talk anyway).
