Need advice on EI
I was working on a full time contract job and was laid off. I completed 1700 hours before lay off. I have a mortgage license and I joined a brokerage as an independent contractor and I make money only if I get a client. As of now, I have no earnings. Can I still get EI or will this disqualify me?
