What do you all think about the 30k standard maintenance?
I just got this done on my Q4 at a cost of more than $400 USD. There are pages and pages of things they checked, like visually inspecting the charging socket, checking the brakes, looking for corrosion, and on and on. The only things they actually did were changing the dust and pollen filter and topping up the wiper fluid.
I guess I'm not unhappy that someone gave the car a thorough once-over. But at the price it feels like a bit of a cash grab, especially for a pretty new vehicle. They call it maintenance, but it really was just an inspection. And if work had needed to be done, they'd have charged for it beyond the $400.
What do you think? Should I stop being a cheapskate and view this as good value for money?
