I am a member of the Labour Party. Just received an email asking me to canvass in Makerfield. Hard on the heels of yesterday's email asking for money. Why would I do that? Imagine being the absolute chump who spent time and money helping Josh Simons get elected. I almost hope the seat is lost to Reform. The entitlement is breathtaking.

I have an iDeCo. Also, in the relentless churn of three-year renewal limits, I have worked in several private high schools. I am fairly sure that I was enrolled in their pension schemes. I am now permanently living outside Japan and my life is stable. Is it worth persuing these contributions? Is it even possible? Any advice would be appreciated.
