The long and short of it is; this year is a "breaking the curses" year for liquid and nAts. During Kick Off they broke the "nAts only qualify every other year to internationals" curse which is where my hope began.

When they later went out 1-2 like always, I felt duped, but that was because I hadn't seen all the string the fates wear weaving.

FIRSTLY. The kickoff thing, as described above.

SECONDLY, curses and blessings are just the same thing if you think about it, which is why Team Liquid HAD to miss out on Masters London. You see, nAts have had the "blessing" of going to every international tournament in the years he qualified for one. So by breaking this blessing CURSE, he sets himself and TL up for a run like no other.

THIRDLY, a more dubious and unclear curse (that i feel can have mutliple outcomes, and only one wrong answer) is who will win Masters London. Every year an NA team has won an international trophy; Sen 2021, Optic 2022, EG 2023, Sen 2024, NRG 2025. The way I see things is there are two ways for this to go.

Either one of the three NA teams will win NRG or 100T (depending on who gets the last spot) or G2. For me, G2 winning and breaking their "no international trophys" curse by beating an EMEA team, (my guess is Team Heretics). It could also be NRG breaking the "champs team curse". For me, this is the least appealing option beacause...

The other more appealing way London will go is either LEV, an APAC team or a Chinese team will win London. And again for the most narrative points, an EMEA team will get second place (TH, lets get that silvery bread!). I like this more than an NA team winning beacuse it sets up the "an NA team always wins an international" curse to be broken (yes it is a curse for the rest of us).

THE ONLY THING that cannot happen at London is EMEA winning! If that happens then this prediction is kaputt.

FOURTHLY, if London goes as I expect, then it sets Champs up for a Curse breaking Liquid, ready to break multiple curses and create a great narritive! By going 2-1 in groups, twisting the score around with a banger last game to get to Playoffs, BREAKING the 1-2 curse once and for all!

FIFTHLY, The Final have been set up to be a BANGER! I expect Team Liquid to meet an NA team in the Grand Final (if an NA team don't win London) (Don't have to be an NA team. It would just be a bonus). Here they finally break EMEAs curse of not having won an international since Fnatic 2023. Bringing home the first Champs trophy to EMEA during partnership. Breaking the EMEA teams gets second place" curse! Doing a full circle for the VCT partnership era by having an EMEA team win the first and last tournament. AND, if we're lucky; Break the "NA always wins an international trophy every year" curse.

I'm telling you all, get onboard now and start huffing that prime glue! 🐴

Remeber me when they go to Champs, and don't bully my cope TOO much.
